Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Library

The library is the most important department in the college. The collection of books is the first foremost function of the library. One should keep in mind that it is not only the store of books, but it is an activity through which major role can be played in providing access to the knowledge.

So, keeping in mind these views , college always endeavors to enrich the library by adding quality textbooks , reference books , etc . Which benefit Student and teachers as well.

In 1970 Yogeshwari education society bifercated the college into two colleges for smooth administration, namely

• Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya (Science College )
• Swami Ramanand Teerth Mahavidyalaya ( Arts & Commerce -College)

College has a separate, spacious library building, constructed with the financial assistance of U.G.C. and named in the memory of late Dr. S . Radhakrishnan, the then president of India, great philosopher and a teacher.

Library has a separate, common reading hall, cubicals for staff, ladies reading room and reading room for postgraduate students.

Highlights:

1. Student Aid Fund: Textbook are issued to deserving and meritorious Under graduate students throughout the academic year in addition to books issued on library card.
2. Night Library facility: Night Library facility is available to Student, especially residing in college hostels. A student incharge is appointed to run night library and honorarium is paid to him.
3. Information about important scientific events, paper cutting are display on library notice board.
4. Significant news paper articals are filed and the information is made available to student on demand.
5. Information about arrivals of new titles is displayed for students and staff and also the same is communicated to concern department.
6. University question papers, Syllabus of degree and postgraduate course are made available to student for reference.
7. Books required for preparation of competitive examination are provided to students.
8. Extra Books are issued to fast learners on recommendations of faculty members.
